For the Love of Stitching Band Sampler 
Section 37 of the For Love of Stitching Band Sampler was worked in February of 2009 and is worked on an evenweve fabric that is a linen cotton mix. It is 22 count so was really easy ont he eyes when sttiching.
The embroidery threads are all hand dyed by me using procion dyes. Most are perle cotton #5 and #8, some are silk. When I dyed them, I did a batch of threads of differnt thicknesses and weight all at once. I used them on this sampler.
The combination of fabric that was an the easy on the eye thread count and that I did not have to think about thread choice meant in this section all I did was sit down and stitch!
As you can see I recorded my 53rd brithday on it.
Size:
The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide and all the sections are stitched together to form one long band.
Currently it measures 74 ft 8 inches or 896 inches (2275.84 centimetres) or 24.8 yards (22.75 metres) long and I have more pieces that I have stitched to add.
